Prices, limits and rules
- Single tickets start at $28 and rise into the thousands for premium sessions and finals.
- You can buy up to 12 Olympic session tickets plus up to 12 football tickets, and a maximum of 4 tickets per Ceremony.
- Purchasers must be 18 or older. Every attendee needs their own ticket — including children of every age.
- Visa is the official payment method, and is required during the Visa Presale specifically.
- Hospitality packages (with premium seating and extras) are sold separately through On Location.
Important for international fans: a ticket does not grant a U.S. visa. Check your entry requirements with the U.S. State Department early, because visa appointment waits can be long.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Waiting for the "on sale" date. There isn't one in the usual sense — if you don't register during the window, you can't buy in that drop.
- Registering multiple times. One profile is enough and duplicates can cause verification problems.
