About

About World of Events

An independent guide built to make one of the largest sporting events in history simple to follow: the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

When a Games spans 36 sports, dozens of venues and several cities, the basic questions — what’s on, where it happens, and when — get buried under press releases and scattered pages. World of Events pulls the essentials into one clear, fast, mobile-friendly place, and keeps it current as plans firm up.

What you’ll find here

How we work

We’re a small, independent publisher. We read the official schedules and venue plans, rewrite them in clear language, and flag anything still marked “subject to change” rather than presenting it as settled. When we get something wrong, we fix it — quickly.

Our independence

World of Events is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the International Olympic Committee, the LA28 Organising Committee, or any Olympic body. All event names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. For official tickets, schedules and announcements, always check the organisers directly — we link to them throughout the site.

How we keep the guide free

Running the site costs money, so we support it in two ways, both designed to stay out of your way:

This keeps the guide free to read, and it never changes the facts we publish.
